Orders during lockdown: We will take online orders during the 21-day South African lockdown. Orders will only be dispatched after lockdown ends.
In response to the worldwide impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to take this opportunity to let customers know what we are doing in the interests of their health and safety in the delivery of online orders during this challenging time.
- Implemented increased sanitation practices and have also limited the number of personnel responsible for the receipt, picking and packing of all orders;
- Reinforced our existing procedures and training on effective handwashing and the use of personal protective wear; and
- Introduced new precautionary measures and procedures for suppliers, courier companies and other third parties entering our premises.
We will constantly re-evaluate the progress and impact of the COVID-19 virus and make changes to our policies and/or procedures wherever deemed necessary to mitigate the potential impact of the virus on our customers and business.
We have also received undertakings and assurances from our respective courier partners that they are operating on a stringent “safety first” approach with regard to the collection and deliveries of all parcels, both domestically and internationally.
In this regard, drivers will be washing their hands and/or applying alcohol-based sanitiser to their hands before every collection and delivery, and we also encourage customers to similarly prepare themselves for acceptance of their delivery. Clients who do not want to touch the driver’s delivery device must please use the back of their own pen or pencil to sign for acceptance of parcels.
